Ok. It has not happend, but it might.

The SHORT version for those who lose focus after 2 words are:
Never click on external links even on Sun Tzu's forum unless you know the person posting them

When you gonna try to steal accounts you dont start out in the local newspaper. You go to the places where the gamers exist. That means that if anyone got some brain they start post on the foums to the diffrenet guilds. Someone will click and get the shit installed and get there account stolen.

This can be done in any open parts like the application forums. And there is no point in looking at the link. You need to look at where that link leads you. Like this:
http://www.wow-europe.com/en/ (Try clicking it and see where you end up....)

To look at where the link leads you need to have the status bar active and look at the hover message that pops up there.

SO: The admin of this site can not protect you. It is your responsibility to make sure you dont push the wrong link.

can this virus / trojan be included in sites that looks "real" ? Like Allakhazam profiles in the application section. If I see that the link that someone wrote is actually linking to an profile and the profile is real etc, can the trojan still be working in the background ? Its a stupid way to form a question I know, but I couldnt think of a better way to explain it.

If the link actualy leads you to the page you expect, like a profile at Allakhazam there is no way that a Trojan can be injected thru this builitin board. The only way someone then can do it is buy having infiltrated the Allakhazam site, but thats very unlikly.

The funny thing is that the link is a joke. Read it carefully and you see that it is a parody. :D

anyone know of someone this has happened to? Recommend everyone to check the links of profiles in the application forum before clicking them! A friend of mine's guild lost 6 accounts because a guy made a fake profile on they're guildforum...
